The Seattle SuperSonics signed guard Mateen Cleaves to a 10-day contract on Saturday, less than a month after he was waived by the team.

Cleaves was released by Seattle on Jan. 4 after averaging 3.4 points and 1.7 assists in 19 games. He signed with Fayetteville of the NBA Development League on Jan. 21 and had six points and four assists in his one game with the Patriots.
