Leon Powe, power forward from the University of California, is likely to make an announcement about the NBA Draft next week but still has not made up his mind, his closest friend said Friday.

"Right now, it's still 50-50," said Bernard Ward, Powe's mentor and unofficial godfather. "We're trying to gather information."
