According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the status of Mavs guard Devin Harris appears to still be up in the air.  Harris has been sidelined with a strained thigh muscle.

"They've kind of got to hold me back to make sure it is healthy enough because this is the wrong time to have a reccurrence, especially late in the season," Harris said Wednesday.

Mavs coach Avery Johnson is hopeful Harris is available at some point in the best-of-seven series against the Grizzlies but doesn't know when that might be. The team has three days off to rest and practice before the opener Sunday in Dallas.

"In a perfect world, he'll be ready to go Sunday, but we're not sure if that's going to happen," Johnson said.
