Grizzlies guard Damon Stoudamire is reportedly ahead of schedule with the rehabilitation of his surgically repaired left knee. After the season-ending procedure, he has reponded well to the subsequent workouts designed to repair a torn patellar tendon.

"I'm making good progress," said Stoudamire. "I'm definitely on course to be healthy for next season. Every day is a good day as long as there are no setbacks. I've been rehabbing for months, and I can honestly say I haven't had a setback."

Stoudamire has spent most of his time in Houston, where he lives in the offseason.
