Mike Miller of the Memphis Grizzlies has been named the winner of the 2005-06 NBA Sixth Man Award, honoring the league?s top player in a reserve role, the NBA announced today.

Miller received 501 out of a possible 615 points, including 88 of a possible 123 first-place votes, from a panel of 123 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada. Speedy Claxton of the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets finished second with 205 points and Jerry Stackhouse finished third with 162 points. Players were awarded five
points for each first-place vote, three points for each second-place vote and one point for each third-place vote.
