Nobody believed that the Cleveland Cavaliers had a chance against the Pistons.

Everyone thought the series was over when Detroit jumped out early and led the series 2-0, but after reeling off three straight wins, including Wednesday's 86-84 game in Detroit, all without starting guard Larry Hughes the Pistons now find themselves on the brink of elimination, having to win the next two games or go home early.

LeBron James has been sensational in these playoffs, and he continued his post-season success with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in Game 5, including what turned out to be the winning assist to Drew Gooden with 27 seconds left.

"Everybody wrote us off, but we started to get some confidence in the second half of Game 2 and we've just kept it going," Cavs reserve Damon Jones said.

The Pistons, however, are maintaining their swagger... for now.

"I'm still not concerned because I know what we're capable of," Chauncey Billups said. "We've been there before.

"We can't be looking for a Game 7 because if you're not careful, there won't be (a Game 7)."

Game 6 is in Cleveland on Friday.
