The New York Daily News is reporting that Larry Brown and James Dolan will meet in the next 7 to 10 days, according to a source.

It is not known if Dolan will fire Brown at that meeting or attempt to negotiate a buyout of Brown's contract, which calls for him to make $40 million over the next four years.

Neither the Knicks nor Brown's representatives would discuss whether a meeting has been planned.

"Larry, Mr. Dolan and Isiah Thomas met dozens of times during the regular season and never once felt the need to contact the media in advance," said Joe Glass, Brown's agent. "Why should they do that now?"
