The Miami Heat advanced to the Finals on Friday night, defeating the Pistons by a final score of 95-78.  This will be the first time the Heat will play in the Finals and the sixth time in the career of center Shaquille O'Neal.

O'Neal has won three championships and was the runner-up twice, once with the Magic and once with the Lakers.  O'Neal scored 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.

Dwyane Wade battled flu-like symptoms and added 14 points.

The Pistons were heavy favorites in the series, but coming off a tough seven-game series against the Cavaliers, the Pistons only managed two wins versus Miami.
