Andrea Bargnani, who wore #11 for Benneton and was told he could have the same number with the Raptors, has given the number to newly acquired point guard TJ Ford, the Toronto Sun is reporting.

Bargnani will now start his NBA career wearing #7.

Coach Sam Mitchell has also declared that Bargnani, the first overall player from this year's draft, will not start for the team, at least not initially.
