A third rookie likely will be added to the Nets' roster today, with the fourth one not far behind.

Serbian center Mile Ilic underwent a physical Tuesday. Provided he passes, the Nets will announce his signing as soon as today.

The 7-foot-2 Ilic, who will get a two-year, $1.65 million deal, may have a hard time cracking the rotation. He was brought here to work with the Nets' strength and conditioning staff and learn from veterans such as Nenad Krstic and Cliff Robinson.

After Ilic's situation is resolved, the Nets' next move is signing second-round pick Hassan Adams, who will give them four rookies on their suddenly inexperienced bench. General manager Ed Stefanski said Adams likely will be signed by next week.
