Volatile forward Danny Fortson has been in Seattle for the past week and said Thursday he will report to camp on time Monday and fulfill any role that is asked this season for the Sonics.

Fortson will earn $6.6 million in 2006-07, the final year of his contract. He said he expected to be traded -- considering his expiring contract could have served as a valuable trade chip -- but will not cause any controversy regardless of his role.

"I will be there (Monday)," Fortson said while driving to Furtado Center. "Everything is good. I am just working hard to get back on the court. I am going to honor my commitment with the Sonics. I am not here to cause any trouble."
