Jamal Crawford did something over the summer no Knick fan could ever bear to do. He watched film of every ugly game from last season's disaster, and watched them more than once, too.

But despite Crawford's seemingly successful season last year, Isiah Thomas told the guard he needed to improve his general understanding of the game, and so Crawford watched film almost every other night at his Seattle home over the summer, and also watched film from his first season as a Knick in 2004-05.

"I saw a lot of interesting stuff," he said. "It was very enlightening."
