Heat coach Pat Riley was noncommittal about whether Dwyane Wade or Shaquille O'Neal would play tonight against New Orleans/Oklahoma City. Wade sat out the Heat's second exhibition -- Saturday's loss at Atlanta -- after logging 20 minutes in the opener against Detroit. O'Neal has played 36 minutes over two games.

Riley said he initially planned to give O'Neal tonight off, but might change that after learning center Michael Doleac will miss two to three weeks with a sprained ankle. (The X-rays were negative.) ''Somewhere, I'll probably sit [O'Neal] down and go with the small-ball thing,'' Riley said of his preseason plans.
