It looks like the Nets have a quick healer on their hands, with rookie Marcus Williams a suprising face at practice Thursday.

"I went home for a day and felt a lot better," said the Nets rookie, who went through almost the entire practice yesterday -- roughly 40 hours after team president Rod Thorn said he'd miss the rest of training camp.

"I don't know what it was. I started feeling better later that night, and the next day I really didn't feel it."

The wrist he injured Tuesday was still sore yesterday, but judging by the way he was drilling 22-foot jumpers, Williams is not going to miss much time beyond tonight's preseason game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He said he can play, and that he has a full range of motion, but the team will make him rest it for a few more days.
