Considering that the Celtics has already picked up the options of the two other members of his rookie class - Al Jefferson and Delonte West - guard Tony Allen has reason to be frustrated, although he doesn't appear to be.

If the Celtics pick up the option on his rookie contract by Oct. 31, he won?t have to worry about another deal until the end of the 2007-08 season.

?It don?t get me frustrated, because it ain?t in my hands,? he said before last night?s exhibition finale against Toronto.

And while there hasn?t been anything new from Allen?s agent, Michael Higgins, Danny Ainge continues to predict that the option will indeed be picked up.

The Celtics director of basketball operations repeated his prognosis of a week ago, saying, "It still hasn?t been decided 100 percent for sure, but we?re definitely leaning that way."
