Kobe Bryant had 35 points, eight rebounds and six assists, and the Los Angeles Lakers overcame another injury to starting center Kwame Brown to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 104-94 on Sunday night.

The Lakers were leading 56-48 early in the third quarter when Brown was helped to the dressing room because of a severely sprained left ankle. He blocked a layup by Miller, but turned his ankle landing on Miller's foot and was writhing in pain as the officials allowed play to continue for another 27 seconds before blowing a whistle. X-rays were inconclusive, and Brown will have further tests Monday.
