The Chicago Bulls announced today that the entire roster has been named the CDW/Sony Notebooks MVP for the 2006-07 season.

With a current overall record of 47-32 (.595), the Bulls are currently a season-best tying 15 games above the .500 mark (also at 46-31) ? their greatest margin over .500 since it finished the 1997-98 season an impressive 42 games over .500 (62-20).

This season?s 47 wins (with three games remaining) matches the 2004-05 team that finished 47-35 for the most wins in Chicago since the 1997-98 team finished 62-20 en route to the franchise?s sixth NBA title. The Bulls have also posted a remarkable 30-10 record at the United Center this year, including a 21-4 mark against Eastern Conference opponents.

With a win over Detroit on March 29, the Bulls clinched their third-straight berth into the NBA Playoffs. Chicago currently holds the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.

Team captains P.J. Brown, Kirk Hinrich and Ben Wallace will accept the award on behalf of the entire team prior to tonight?s home finale against the Charlotte Bobcats.
