Julian Wright?s basketball career at Kansas will be officially over soon.

Wright, who declared for the NBA draft in early April, will sign with an agent sometime this week, according to KU coach Bill Self.

Wright, who?s expected to be a lottery pick in the June draft, has chosen to sign with agent Rob Pelinka, best known for negotiating Kobe Bryant?s $137 million deal in 2004, the largest contract in NBA history. Pelinka also works for Los Angeles Clippers forward Corey Maggette and has already signed former Arizona guard Marcus Williams in this year?s draft.
