Jeff Nix, director of college scouting who has been with the Knicks for 15 seasons, is being let go less than a month before the NBA Draft, The Post has learned.

Nix, who started as an assistant under Pat Riley and has worked with eight Knicks head coaches, will not have his contract renewed, a team official said. Nix's contract expires Aug. 31. It is unlikely he will perform any more duties for the club leading to the June 28 draft, though a Knicks official said that point hasn't been fully established. Nix was not present at the first two pre-draft workouts yesterday or Monday.
