Labeling himself disappointed but not discouraged, Joe Dumars said Monday that he would take an open-minded attitude into his summer's work of reshaping a team that had lost in the Eastern Conference finals two years straight.

"The bottom line is this: If we can't get it done, we can't get it done, and I'll make changes," said Dumars, Pistons president of basketball operations. "I won't even blink an eye about it."

Speaking for the first time since the end of the season, Dumars laid out a vision for the summer that made no promises about who will stay and who will go.
