Mickael Pietrus and his agent, Bill McCandless, met Wednesday at their request with Warriors officials in Las Vegas.  The Warriors have dragged out the process with the restricted free agent while he has seen interest from teams come and go.

McCandless said Miami general manager Randy Pfund told him the Heat's pursuit of Pietrus was being put on the back burner while the team targeted a couple other veterans. In the meantime, McCandless said, two new teams have jumped into the fray since Friday with attractive packages.

His main suitors have been the Heat, Dallas Mavericks and Cleveland Cavaliers.
