Soon, the Sonics' coaching staff and management team are expected to discuss sending center Mouhamed Sene and swingman Mickael Gelabale to the Idaho Stampede of the NBA's Developmental League.

Coach P.J. Carlesimo said Friday it's unlikely a decision will be made before the start of the Stampede's training camp Sunday. He also said there's no rush for either player to join the Idaho team before its first game Nov. 19.

Before Friday, Gelabale had played in just two games and had three DNP-CDs (did not play-coach's decision). He was averaging 1.0 points in three minutes.

Sene has been placed on the inactive list in four of Seattle's six games and has appeared in just one game.

"Right now, they are both a victim of numbers," Carlesimo said. "We need to look at them. Part of looking at them may very well be Idaho, but it's not going to be the sole thing."

"We got to wait and see what happens. You hate to say it, wait and see if an injury happens."
