Boston Celtics' forward Kevin Garnett was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday November 5 through Sunday November 11.

Garnett has helped the Celtics to a 5-0 start, including a 3-0 record last week against Denver, Atlanta and New Jersey.   Garnett had three double-doubles during the week, and he averaged 22.7 points, 15.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 2.67 steals and 1.67 blocks.  Garnett is currently leading the NBA in rebounds per game with 15.8 per game.

This is the 16th time in Garnett?s career that he has been named the NBA?s Player of the Week.
