A night after an embarrassing 104-95 home loss to previously winless Seattle, Heat Coach Pat Riley blamed himself and his players but suggested he would hold off on the "massive shakeup" at which he had hinted.

"I have to raise my level of coaching. Maybe I'm the massive change here," Riley said, laughing. "Anybody else at 1-7, you'd be saying, `Let's get this guy out of here.' I've been here 13 years, and I'm as culpable as anybody else. I've put this team together. I'm just as hard on myself as anybody else."

(Riley made clear later, through a team spokesman, that he is not considering stepping down.)
