Seattle figures to increase the playing time of young big man Robert Swift at the expense of Kurt Thomas, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer is reporting, leaving the Sonics with a dilemma as to what to do with Thomas only days out from the trade deadline.

With Orlando amongst other teams showing interest in the veteran big man, the Sonics need to decide if they're going to keep Thomas in a reduced role for the remainder of the season or send him to a contender.

Thomas said he has enjoyed his time in Seattle.

"It's been great here. My teammates have been outstanding. The coaches have been great here," Thomas said. "The organization has been great, the fans. The city is beautiful up here. So I have really enjoyed myself."
