Former Sioux Falls Skyforce forward Bobby Jones today earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Denver Nuggets.  Jones is expected to be in uniform and available for action on Saturday, April 12, when the Nuggets travel to play the Utah Jazz.  

Jones will return to the Nuggets, where he started the 2007-08 season and averaged 3.3 points, 9.0 minutes in 23 games before being waived on Jan. 7 and signed by the Skyforce.  Jones has also suited up for four other teams this season, including stints with the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies prior to his time in Sioux Falls and Call-Ups to the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat.  

In five games with the Skyforce this season, Jones is averaging 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 28.0 minutes.  

The 28th GATORADE Call-Up this season, Jones holds NBA averages of 3.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 45 games this season.  Last season, Jones appeared in 44 games with the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game.  

Originally selected in the second round (37th overall) of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jones? draft rights were traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on draft night.  Jones played four seasons at the University of Washington, appearing in 135 career games (106 starts) where he averaged 9.8 points and 4.9 rebounds.  He earned Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 honors as a senior, finishing his collegiate career as the 20th all-time leading scorer in Washington history with 1,226 points.
