Kansas State's Michael Beasley, rated as the first overall pick in RealGM's latest mock draft, has scheduled a press conference on the Kansas State campus to announce whether he is going to declare for the NBA Draft or return to school next season, the Associated Press is reporting.

Most believe that the talented forward will go pro.

?There?s no question in my mind who the best player in the country is,? said Kansas coach Bill Self. ?It?s Michael Beasley. He may not win all the player of the year awards, but he?s the best player.?

?I think he?s going to go, and I think it?s the right thing to do, because he?s going to be the top pick in the draft,? added Kansas State coach Frank Martin.
