Chauncey Billups will continue to play against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals despite a lingering right hamstring injury, according to The Associated Press.

He is refusing to allow the same hamstring, which he injured early in the team's semifinal series against  Orlando, to keep him off the court against Boston.

"Hurt or not, I still have to play better and fight through it," Billups said Sunday.

He struggled in the team's loss at home to the Celtics on Saturday night.

"At this juncture of the season, you can't sit out," Billups said. "I'm one of the main leaders of the team. We've got a young guy Stuckey, who is playing great, and we've got to find ways to keep him playing well."
