Shortly after being eliminated by the Celtics in six games, Pistons guard Chauncey Billups has given credit where credit is due, according to The Detroit Free Press.

"I give credit where credit is due," Billups said. "That team is good. They?re locked in, they?re focused. From the coaches to the players to the bench, they?re together, man. That?s why you see them playing the way they played all season, and beating us in this series."

Billups is particularly happy for good friend Kevin Garnett, who will make his first Finals appearance next week.

"I told him, ?Man, (you?ve) been waiting a long time - waiting a long time for this,? " Billups said. "He deserved it, and I?m pulling for him."
