The Portland Trail Blazers left a lasting impression with Kansas guard Brandon Rush.

"I was most impressed with the Trail Blazers," Rush told RealGM Wednesday when asked which team impressed him the most. "They are a young team, and they are looking for some players."

When asked what current NBA player he would compare himself to, Rush immediately named a member of the league's newest champion.

"I would have to say a younger Ray Allen, back from his Seattle days," said Rush. "We both shoot the ball well, can get to the hole, and finish, as well."

However, he's not looking to stand pat. There are certain aspects of his game that he plans to work on this summer.

"I need to get stronger and learn the professional game as well."

Rush hasn't been projected to go as high as some of his fellow Green Room invitees, but he knows exactly what he'll bring to whatever team selects him Thursday night.

"I've been a winner in college, and I come from a great program," he commented. "Those three years at Kansas really helped me grow."

The mention of his decision to remain in school for three years stirred talk of the league's age limit.

"I think if a player is good enough to come out of high school that he should be able to, but personally I thought it was good for me to play those three years," he admitted.

"However, the age limit has given us the chance to see guys like Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley, along with all the other top freshmen that will probably be top-ten picks, at the college level," Rush added.

Talk of players like Rose and Beasley seemed to excite the fan inside Rush as he gushed about the latter's abilities.

"I'd go with Beasley if I had the number one pick because he makes things look so easy out there," Rush said. "He could make any team better. He's the best player I've seen in college."
