Vince Carter was not surprised by any of the moves that the New Jersey Nets made since the 2007-08 season closed but maintained he still wants to be part of the team's future, the New York Daily News is reporting.

"I've never questioned what they're doing, and I definitely want to be here," Carter said. "It's the way it goes. It's the business of basketball."

Carter, who averaged 21.3 points per game last season, played through 2007-08 with an ankle injury, but after off-season surgery Carter says he is now healthy and ready to go.
