The trial between former SuperSonics' owner Howard Schultz and Clay Bennett and his professional basketball club is scheduled to be heard on June 15, 2009, according to a report by Greg Johns of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer is reporting.

Schultz seeks to unwind the sale of the Sonics to the Oklahoma City group in an attempt to return the team to Seattle. A two-part trial was requested, with the first phase in May 2009 to determine whether the PBC committed fraud by misleading the former Sonics' owners at the time of the 2006 sale as to their commitment to keep the team in Seattle.

Schultz asked for a second phase to determine a remedy in September, but only if he won the initial trial.
