NBA legend and TNT analyst Charles Barkley was in Denver on Tuesday to support presidential candidate Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention, according to NBC 9.

Barkley claims to be a friend of Obama's and is excited about Barack's scheduled speech on Thursday.

"I've never been to a convention before, and this is awesome," said Barkley. "We've got to address the economic disparities in America. The gap between the rich and the poor is worse than it's ever been, and that is why I am supporting Barack and the Democratic Party."
