LeBron James took part in a rally for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama on Wednesday night at the Quicken Loans Arena.

"Nov. 4 is the most important day of our lives," James said. "Everybody in here, get your family out there and vote. You know who I'm voting for; I'm voting for Obama."

Jay-Z, after singing the first song of his concert, told the crowd to vote early in order to avoid long lines.

"We're here to have fun tonight, but there's an important election coming up," Jay-Z said. "We the youth are going to show them our power."
