The Magic (10-4) weathered a late storm by the Bucks (7-9) on Monday night to win their tenth game of the season. Dwight Howard had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 blocks; Rashard Lewis scored 22 points; and Hedo Turkoglu added 22 points and 9 boards. Both teams grabbed forty rebounds while Orlando turned the ball over three more times. However, the Magic attempted an astounding 54 free throws. Larry Hughes scored off an offensive rebound with one second left on the clock to give the Bulls (7-8) a dramatic victory over the Jazz (9-6). Derrick Rose had 25 points and 8 assists; Drew Gooden tallied 18 points and 6 rebounds; and Hughes added 16 points and 5 boards. Chicago and Utah were nearly identical in most statistics (each with 38 rebounds, more than 15 turnovers and over 50% shooting), but the Bulls made four more free throws and two more three-pointers. Mehmet Okur led with 26 points and 9 rebounds; Paul Millsap had 21 points and 10 boards; and Ronnie Price had 11 points and 8 assists in the loss. The Jazz were again without Deron Williams (ankle) and Carlos Boozer (quadriceps).
