Raptors forward Chris Bosh believes that he could be the NBA's MVP this season.

"I've been sharing that with my family, I haven't shared it with you guys, but now you know," Bosh said. "I came into this season saying I'm going to give it a shot. I think I can get it and we need more wins, of course, but when I think of MVPs in the past, I think of consistency and you know, every they night they put it out there on the floor and, when need be, they put their teams on their backs."

Toronto, 7-7, has been led, at times, almost solely by Bosh this season. He is averaging 27.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest.

"I was just lying in bed, it was like 'I got it! That's it,' " Bosh added. "Once I got a couple of things and I started having that confidence every day, it's just been going on. Now, I just keep it going and I'm kind of on cruise control."
