Donnie Walsh said the following in a statement released by the Knicks on Monday:

"After meeting with Stephon and his representative this afternoon, we have directed Stephon not to participate in practice or attend games until further notice. We want to continue to meet with him to discuss a long-term resolution."

NBPA attorney Hal Biagas, who is representing Stephon Marbury, spoke to the media after exiting today's meeting with Walsh.

"It's not resolved," Biagas said.  "We?re keeping it in-house.  I have no comment.  I'll keep you posted if things happen."

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News witnessed Marbury sitting in the passenger seat of his Rolls Royce after meeting for only 15 minutes with Walsh.  Biagas stayed on for another 20 minutes before being picked up by Marbury's driver.

NBPA Executive Director Billy Hunter left minutes before Marbury arrived and said he was optimistic that a settlement between Marbury and the Knicks would be reached.
