The Knicks have an open roster spot after the retirement of Cuttino Mobley and could swing a 2-for-1 trade in order to fill the vacant spot.

A number of players entered the trade market on Sunday, with players drafted in the first and second rounds of June's draft becoming tradable. In addition, free agents that were signed this summer can now be dealt.

Coach Mike D'Antoni admitted that the Knicks will first try to fill the roster spot through a trade.
