Portland coach Nate McMillan made an adjustment to his rotation on Thursday night, placing Ike Diogu ahead of Channing Frye.

Frye has struggled recently, and Diogu has been elevated to the backup power forward role for the first time this season.

"It's pretty exciting," Diogu said prior to the game. "I finally get a chance to go out there and show people what I can do. I feel like I have been working really hard and now I just have to take advantage because you don't know when it's going to happen again."

Diogu had 1 point and 4 rebounds in six minutes of action against the Suns on Thursday evening.
