The Charlotte Bobcats have traded Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Vladimir Radmanovic.

Radmanovic never became a consistently productive member of Phil Jackson's rotation.  Radmanovic has two more full seasons left on the contract the Lakers signed him to using the mid-level exception.

Morrison was a stand-out at Gonzaga but has struggled as a pro.  He has one more full season left on his rookie contract.

"We definitely wish him well," Bobcats general manager Rod Higgins said of Morrison. "He's a good kid and hopefully he gets an opportunity to play. You never know, he might get a chance to win a (championship) ring."
