The Pistons are beginning to feel a sense of urgency with 21 games left in the regular season.

However, coach Michael Curry says that the team has been dealing with added pressure for a majority of the season.

"A sense of urgency is what we've been dealing with for some time now," Curry said Saturday. "Not just on the losing streak, but you're also playing bad basketball so you get a sense of urgency."

At 31-30, Detroit is just three games back of Atlanta for the fourth seed. However, they also have just a three-game edge over Chicago for the eighth seed.

"It's that time of year where you got to grind games out and you try to build momentum going into the playoffs," Curry said. "That's where now hopefully your experience comes in and hopefully your experience means something -- that you know how to get ready both mentally and physically for this time of year and play some really good basketball."
