The Pistons might be without forward Rasheed Wallace on Wednesday night against the Knicks because of a strained left calf.

Wallace suffered the injury on Monday night against the Magic, and had a precautionary MRI on Tuesday.

"Whatever Arnie (Kander, strength and conditioning coach) tells me, we'll go with it," said coach Michael Curry, who considers Wallace day-to-day.

Detroit will start either Kwame Brown or Amir Johnson in Wallace's place if he does miss the game.
