LeBron James said before Sunday's game against the Knicks in Cleveland that he believes the team is a perfect fit for former teammate Larry Hughes.

"He's a very good player, and I think D'Antoni's system really helps him," James said. "I think our system didn't benefit him or he didn't benefit with our system or however that happens.

"I think D'Antoni gives him an opportunity just to go out and play, live free, and do things that he does on the court. He's been pretty good. I've been keeping up with him. He's done a great job."

Hughes, who has played in 12 games for New York, is averaging 15.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game on 41.9% shooting.
