The Pistons could finish the season anywhere from sixth to eighth in the Eastern Conference, but the team doesn't believe that playoff seeding matters.

"I don't think about being an eighth seed being a situation we can't handle," forward Tayshaun Prince said. "Any situation would have been tough for us, the way we've been playing. It doesn't matter who we play. We have to be prepared, we have to be ready."

Richard Hamilton agreed with Prince.

"We're already near the bottom in the playoffs," he said. "At this point in time, regardless of who we play, we just have to know that we made it to the playoffs and hopefully we can make a run."

Detroit is currently eighth in the East, a game behind both Philadelphia and Chicago, who are tied for the sixth seed.
