Perhaps referring to the team's lackadaisical play early in the playoffs, Kobe Bryant has stressed the importance of keeping the pressure on the Magic.

Los Angeles took Game 1, but the superstar wants to see his teammates come with the same intensity in Game 2.

"Man 1 through 5, everybody was dedicated to working hard, came back in transition, did a pretty good job," Bryant said after Thursday night's 100-75 win over Orlando. "We've just got to keep our foot on the gas and keep our head down and just keep on working."

Bryant scored a career Finals high 40 points, and was aggressive after the first quarter.

"I wanted to be sure we stayed on the aggressive and it was my responsibility over the course of the game to keep it going," he said. "We worked very hard on the perimeter, keeping these guys out of rhythm, then we did a good job on him (Dwight Howard) inside?giving him different looks."
