NBA commissioner David Stern says that he isn't sure if Bobcats minority owner Michael Jordan plans to put in a bid to become majority owner.

"I don't know what Michael's plans are, but I do know that Charlotte is an extraordinary market," Stern said. "It led our league in attendance for many years. It's got a terrific new building, and I'm sure that whoever the next owner is will fully realize the potential of the market based upon a very good start that [owner] Bob [Johnson] has made in bringing basketball back to Charlotte."

The Bobcats are currently valued at $284 million by Forbes, ranked second-to-last in the NBA.
