Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News believes that the Warriors are set on drafting a point guard with the seventh pick.

Golden State worked out Brandon Jennings on Thursday, and head coach Don Nelson and general manager Larry Riley interviewed him afterward.

"Just thanking me for coming by," said Jennings, "and they said, 'See you soon, hopefully.' "

Nelson and Riley have also sat down with Jonny Flynn.

A Warriors spokesman confirmed that Riley told a group of season-ticket holders Wednesday night that the team was targeting a point guard or "more beef" in the front court.

Alan Hahn of Newsday writes in his blog:  "Jennings apparently had a very strong workout for the Golden State Warriors this week and it is believed they would likely take him with the No. 7 pick."
