The Suns have intensified their efforts to re-sign veteran forward Grant Hill.

Phoenix managing partner Robert Sarver, general manager Steve Kerr and head coach Alvin Gentry traveled to Orlando to meet with Hill on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to sources.

The Knicks made a strong play for Hill earlier this week, reportedly offering the forward the option of a one-year, $5 million deal or a three-year, $10 million contract.

Suns point guard Steve Nash also called Hill in an effort to persuade him to remain in Phoenix.
