League sources confirmed on Monday that the Celtics and Pacers are looking for a third team to facilitate a sign-and-trade for Marquis Daniels.

Daniels has agreed to join Boston, and Indiana has agreed to work on a sign-and-trade in an attempt to help Daniels get a better contract out of the deal.

The Celtics have offered Tony Allen in a trade, but the Pacers aren't believed to be interested in the guard.

"They need a third team, and that's complicated," one source said. "No other teams have jumped at it so far."
