Amar? Stoudemire played competitive basketball on Tuesday for the first time since mid-February.

He played in 4-on-4 games at US Airways Center against some of his Phoenix teammates.

"Sometimes, I felt like it was going faster than I expected, as far as competition," Stoudemire told the Arizona Republic. "Other than that, I felt great. To finally be back out there with the guys and running sprints with them, I got my family back. It's almost like you ran away from home for a while. Now, you're back home and you feel how great it is to be around your family."

Stoudemire wore protective eye-wear, which he'll likely have to wear for the remainder of his career after the discovery of a detached retina ended his 2008-09 season early.
